THE HISTORY OF “THUNDERBALL”

IN THE EARLY 70’S the founder of the game now known as  “THUNDERBALL” had recently graduated form Oxford University in the UK and was the head of a Physical Education Department at a high school on a Canadian Reserve known as Hobbema in Alberta

There was a serious problem between some of the students and the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) due to the high incidence of crime the tensions and animosity between the police and students was palpable.

In an effort to defuse the problem a game was devised that had “NO RULES” where the RCMP and the Grade 12 students could let off some steam against one another basically by beating  the poop out of one another in a game that at that time was called “MURDERBALL”. The results were spectacular. Crime dropped to almost nothing and the students and RCMP had a mutual respect for one another.

The game became so popular that a group of injured wheelchair athletes in Saskatchewan and Manitoba  started playing the game of MURDERBALL.

Again, it became so popular that there was a movie made of the game called “MURDERBALL” Follow the link below to see the trailer for the Movie which was declared the best sports movie of all time by Rotten Tomatoes.

After the movie and television exposure the Game became even more popular and well known. So much so that it attracted the attention of the Olympic Committee who adopted the game as an event in the Paralympics where it is now competed in by 35 countries world wide. Please watch the video from the Paris Olympics and note the packed crowds that attend these games. Ticket prices ranged from 65 Euros to 150 Euros.

It is one of the most popular events watched by millions around the world. The name “MURDERBALL” was and is not today socially acceptable anymore although it is still trademarked by the founder. The Olympic Committee renamed the sport “WHEELCHAIR RUGBY”

Fast forward to present times.

The founder of the original game has also renamed the game and is now known as

“THUNDERBALL”

It is being brought back to its original format with 15 fully able-bodied players on each team   beating the poop out of one another trying to score a goal. It’s fast and furious. It’s fun to watch and makes for great television entertainment.

Over the years certain technological advances and public tastes have changed where extreme sports has become one of the world’s most desirable television formats and is commanding huge broadcast licensing fees in the BILLIONS of dollars.

Supervision Entertainment has produced thousands of network television shows that have been distributed in over 65 countries. The company recognizes the incredible opportunity to provide content on an already proven popular game format named everything from “MURDERBALL” to “WHEELCHAIR RUGBY” and now to “THUNDERBALL”.

However, being involved in sports we have also taken a hard look at the structure of the current professional sports leagues. The way they evolved was always around the elite players.

There is nothing wrong with this but there are hundreds of millions of elite players in a variety of sports are probably just as good as the players lucky enough to be on a team but teams are limited to how many elite players they can take.

This structure cuts out a huge market of hundreds of millions of players.

For example, there are 70+ million active basketball players in the United States and millions more around the world but there are only 2,200 professional players. We are not interested in those elite players, we are interested in the hundreds of millions in basketball and the hundreds of million across all sports who would like an opportunity to earn some money from a professional sport. How could we accomplish this goal?

The big driver of professional sports teams is the money they receive from television and “Live Streaming” which is the BILLIONS. The answer lies here.

THUNDERBALL will share its global revenues from broadcast licensing and “Live Streaming” with everyone registered with THUNDERBALL.

THUNDERBALL is the only professional sport in the world to share its revenues from Television and “Live Streaming” of its television content.

Anyone, for as long as they are registered as an active or passive THUNDERBALL player or a THUNDERBALL team owner will get to share in these revenues.

This is a disruptive approach to the professional sports business and very much like UBER did with the established Taxi Business. The Taxi business was controlled by a few large taxi company’s like Yellow Cab and cities that issued expensive taxi cab licenses. UBER made changes so that anyone, anywhere in the world with a car, could now be a taxi driver.

THUNDERBALL is doing the same with professional sports. Now anyone, simply by registering can play, own a team or share in the THUNDERBALL revenues.

So now we come to the point where early in 2026 we will be forming teams and playing fully televised game. If you wish to be an active participant in THUNDERBALL here is what we are looking for.

We are specifically looking for well built athletic sports players, both men and women actively playing in contact sports like football, baseball, ice hockey, rugby, soccer, lacrosse, wrestling, UFC and Australian Rules Football and who are interested in developing a professional sports career.

Players must be over the age of 18 years and free and clear of any criminal record. Please remember that you will be an ambassador of the sport of a THUNDERBALL and the organization which has to build a global fan base. Besides being a player or a team owner we are in the entertainment business and will be high profile to a huge fan base.

We are looking for over the top personalities and characters (almost like superheroes)We are also looking for female Players and team owners as well as stunning cheerleaders for every team in every State and Province. The cheerleaders will be dynamic and will also be ambassadors for the team. Very much like the cheerleaders are for the Dallas Cowboys NFL football franchise.

There is an onboarding and application fee of $100 USD for all applicants regarding any position applied for such as Players, Cheerleaders, Coaches, Sports Commentators, etc.,

The company will be hiring a large number of staff to effectively market THUNDERBALL on a global basis and welcomes any enquiries from all organizations, companies, broadcasters, advertisers, on air commentators, players, sports television production companies both nationally and internationally.

We are open for business and we look forward to an exceptional rise in popularity of this “NO RULES” and “WINNER TAKE ALL” format of THUNDERBALL.
